Eurotech’s Catalyst FX delivers the power of Eurotech’s Catalyst Module XL, based on the Intel Atom processor, on a flexible carrier board easily customized to meet application requirements. The Catalyst FX offers high speed USB, serial ports, SATA drives, and much more. Expansion boards, supplied by Eurotech or third-party, offer multimedia capabilities such as audio, XVGA, LVDS, or HDMI/DVI video, and can be easily expanded for additional I/O ports. Optional on-board GPS receiver and vehicle power make this an effective solution for fleet management and tracking applications. Catalyst FX has operating system support for Windows CE, Windows Embedded Standard, and Wind River Linux 3.0. Support is also available for the Java Virtual Machine and Eurotech’s Everyware Software Framework which provides for an easy-to-use, Java-based development environment that minimizes time to market and allows for trouble-free portability for future expansion.
