Analog I/O via Ethernet This member of the 2600 series of smart I/O modules connects to an Ethernet via a 2601 communication module. It reads sixteen analog input voltages, including thermocouples, and has up to eight 15-bit D/A’s. The 2608’s microcontroller provides I/O services to the remote 2601 client via a category-3 cable. The cable supplies isolated serial communication and power to the 2608’s microcontroller. 32-bit encoder/counter interface
