CWDM Amplifiers - Transmode is the first vendor to introduce amplified CWDM systems, allowing our customers to further increase their addressable market. Transmode's CWDM transmission system is available with PIN-based transponders for short reach applications, APD-based transponders for medium reach and CWDM amplifiers for long reach appli-cations. The current version of the CWDM Amplifier increases link span to 120 km for 4 CWDM channels simultaneously and offers monitoring of all relevant parameters.
