M0 (MEN MIKRO)

The M0 is based on the M-Module ANSI mezzanine standard. It can be used as an I/O extension in any type of bus system, i.e. CPCI, PXI, VME or on any type of stand-alone SBC. Appropriate M-Module carrier cards in 3U, 6U and other formats are available from MEN or other manufacturers. M-Modules are an ANSI mezzanine standard for all kinds of real-world I/O functions. M-Modules are used on a large variety of computing platforms such as CPCI, PXI, VME, VXI, desktop PCI or on any other type of carrier card. The M-Module concept is deliberately designed to allow specialized modules to be developed simply, quickly, and cheaply. These specialized development efforts can be undertaken by different vendors or by the customers themselves. The M0 is a bare board with just the appropriate connectors for development of M-Module prototypes and small series.
