M19 (MEN MIKRO)

The M19 is based on the M-Module ANSI mezzanine standard. It can be used as an I/O extension in any type of bus system, i.e. CPCI, PXI, VME or on any type of stand-alone SBC. Appropriate M-Module carrier cards in 3U, 6U and other formats are available from MEN or other manufacturers. The M19 M-Module is a simple radio-controlled clock interface. Using an active antenna, it receives the DCF77 longwave transmitter at Mainflingen near Frankfurt/Main. The M-Module will operate properly within a distance of approx. 1,500km from Frankfurt. The time signal mainly consists of a 77.5kHz carrier frequency with modulated second marks. The bit stream continuously being received contains the BCD codes of time, date and day-of-week and three parity bits.
