M39 (MEN MIKRO)

The M39 is based on the M-Module ANSI mezzanine standard. It can be used as an I/O extension in any type of bus system, i.e. CPCI, PXI, VME or on any type of stand-alone SBC. Appropriate M-Module carrier cards in 3U, 6U and other formats are available from MEN or other manufacturers. The M39 is an InterBus-S slave controller for industrial fieldbus applications. The M-Module can be supplied by an external 24V supply. This guarantees that the bus is not disrupted when the system is switched off. Remote IN and Remote OUT bus connections are isolated from each other and from the system. The 24V supply to the M39 is also isolated. The M-Module allows to integrate intelligent nodes in an InterBus-S system. For example, a stored-program control can be coupled with a real-time system.
