M41 (MEN MIKRO)

The M41 is based on the M-Module ANSI mezzanine standard. It can be used as an I/O extension in any type of bus system, i.e. CPCI, PXI, VME or on any type of stand-alone SBC. Appropriate M-Module carrier cards in 3U, 6U and other formats are available from MEN or other manufacturers. The M41 uses four 24-bit multimode counters. These counters can be used in several different modes including quadrature encoding of sensor signals, but also frequency counting, gated pulse counting etc. The counter can be loaded with a preset and a compare value. Interrupt generation is possible. The inputs can be used as TTL or RS422 inputs. For user-defined functions there are also four TTL open-collector outputs. A DC/DC converter supplies the isolated part of the M-Module.
