M63 (MEN MIKRO)

The M63 is based on the M-Module ANSI mezzanine standard. It can be used as an I/O extension in any type of bus system, i.e. CPCI, PXI, VME or on any type of stand-alone SBC. Appropriate M-Module carrier cards in 3U, 6U and other formats are available from MEN or other manufacturers. The M63 is a DSP-based digital M-Module. It provides a total of 32 I/O lines, 16 of which are input lines and 16 are input or output lines. This makes two optically isolated groups: one 16-bit input group and one 16-bit I/O group. The internal RAM of the DSPs is used as a program memory and data buffer. The M63 forms a functional extension to the analog input/output M-Modules M59 and M68. Its external trigger line allows acquisition and output of binary signals together with analog signals. In addition to the standard firmware included, the user can implement his own applications using the development kit by Analog Devices.
