M70 (MEN MIKRO)

The M70 is based on the M-Module ANSI mezzanine standard. It can be used as an I/O extension in any type of bus system, i.e. CPCI, PXI, VME or on any type of stand-alone SBC. Appropriate M-Module carrier cards in 3U, 6U and other formats are available from MEN or other manufacturers. The M70 is a DSP-based M-Module for acquisition of temperature values using PT100/PT1000 resistance temperature detectors or thermocouples. The M70 automatically recognizes the connected sensor type and connection type from the pin assignment of the connectors applied. For PT100/PT1000 the M-Module has 4, 8 or 16 channels, depending on the input mode (2-wire, 3-wire or 4-wire connection). 15 channels are available for thermocouples, while one channel is used for cold junction compensation. You must connect a PT100 sensor to this channel.
