Introduction

The IEI NOVA-300 Series supports a 386SX-40 on-board Processor Embedded in the ALi M6117 chipset. The IEI NOVA-300 Series utilizes a HM86508 LCD/CRT VGA controller on board with 1MB V-RAM, with Resolution 1024 x 768 (256 colors), a DB-15 connector for CRT display, and a 44-pin header for the LCD panel. A few additional features of the IEI NOVA-300 Series are: One PC/104 expansion connector for add-on cards, One SIMM socket up to 32MB EDO RAM, a Watchdog Timer, One Floppy Disk Drive, One Parallel Port, and One DiskOnChip socket.
