Introduction

The Alcatel-Lucent 1320 Craft Terminal (CT SDH/Optical Networks)is an element-management application that provides network operators with facilities for local or remote setup, and for continuous field maintenance of Alcatel-Lucent's transmission network elements. The Alcatel-Lucent 1320 CT supports new Optical Multiservice Nodes (OMSN), Optical Multiservice Gateways (OMSG), and Optical Network (ON) and Microwave (MW) Radio Link systems. As part of the Alcatel-Lucent's network management solution for the operation of SDH and WDM transmission networks, the Alcatel-Lucent 1320 CT supports necessary distributed operations and maintenance functionality.
