Introduction

The AX5234P is a 96 channels (bits) digital inputs and outputs board that plug into PCI bus. The board can be used with TTL low-level input/output circuitry or with AX754, AX755, and AX1416/24 providing isolation for interfacing with high level input and output signals. The 96 channels are arranged into four separated groups, each group consists of 24 channels DIO. Each group emulates a 8255 PPI chip mode 0 in software. The 24 channels DIO is further divided into three ports with 8bits per port. This 8-bit port can be configured to function as input or output.
