Introduction

This state of the art CompactPCI SBC features a Super Socket 7 processor taking CPUs up to 550MHz with 100MHz CPU bus. A variety of processors can be selected to suit a particular application. For top performance applications the K6-III with 3D now or where power and harsh environmental conditions are of importance then a range of high specification low power CPUs can be specified. (e.g. K6-II Mobile 350MHz) The usual range of PC peripherals are provided on the module with high performance graphics and network adapters. Networking is available via the front panel 10baseT/100baseTx ethernet connector. The on-board graphics adapter features a 3D accelerator and up to 32MBytes of memory. The PanelLink interface provides a simple solution for connecting LCD panels at distances up to 10 meters. The PMC site allows specialist I/O to be added to suit individual requirements. The design conforms to standard PC architecture ensuring compatibility with many popular Operating Systems including Windows NT and Windows 2000.
