Full/Half-Duplex 100BASE-FX Transceiver Port 1: MII Port 2: 100BASE-FX 1300nm MM SC (2 km) Connects MII nodes via an ST or SC type connector, to a fiber optic medium in both full and half-duplex modes. (The ability to operate in full-duplex mode allows for operation between switches and routers using full-duplex Fast Ethernet.) Support fiber optic segments up to 2,000 meters on multimode fiber. Single mode version supports fiber optic segments up to 20,000 meters.
