Description

Central Office (CO) unit used to deploy an HDSL2 T1 circuit using 2-wire metallic facilities. The unit occupies one slot in an AT&T DDM+ DS1 Extension shelf. DSX-1 signals are provided to and received from the network while HDSL2 signals are provided to the local loop. Works in conjunction with the ADTRAN H2TU-R to provide a DS1 service up to 12,000 feet on the local loop. The H2TU-C can be deployed in circuits consisting of one H2TU-C and one H2TU-R.
