The Stratum 3E Clock Module is a timing source that provides a back-up clock signal to the Total Access 3000/3010 DSLAM platform. The module works in conjunction with the Total Access 3000/3010 DS3 Cell Switch Module (CSM) to provide holdover capability upon the loss of the provisioned timing source, typically an external DS1 BITS clock.
