Description

ATLAS 550 User Resource Module. Performs G.726 (ADPCM) compression at 16K and 32K, and/or G.711 (uncompressed voice) at 64K for packetized voice applications. Provides 32 channels of packetized voice in ATLAS 550 frame relay applications and currently is compatible only with other ATLAS 550 systems. Does not present any physical interfaces and is a plug-on board for all user interface modules and the resource host module.
