Introduction
Designed for embedded video applications or upgrades to digital video, the DVP-1410 is a super compact-sized, embedded hardware MPEG1/2/4 encoder module which is easily integrated into many different types of existing equipment, such as Panel PCs, ATM machines, etc. DVP-1410 can accept standard composite video input through BNC or pin-header connectors and comes complete with SDK and driver for MS-Windows 2000 or XP OS environments. By using a standard USB 1.1 interface, the DVP-1410 easily integrates with most Single Board Computers or PC based systems. The hardware MPEG video encoder engine can reduce the main CPU’s workload, and the programmer’s coding time. DVP-1410 also supports up to 30/25 fps (NTSC/PAL) at D1 resolution, whilst the dynamically adjustable bit rate and frame rate can accommodate variable bandwidths and quality to achieve optimum resolution. With the 128 byte EEPROM, the programmer can write protection codes or system parameters to it via our SDK. The DVP-1410 is an ideal compact embedded digital video solution for multiple applications such as Digital Video Recorder (DVR) multimedia kiosks or any application that requires Digital Video functions.
