SOM-DB2300 (ADVANTECH)

The SOM-DB2300 is a FlexATX board-size development board for SOM 144/PCI Modules. It provides a SODIMM socket and a 80- pin connector (receptacle ) to link a SOM 144/PCI module, such as Advantech’s SOM-2353 or SOM-2365. To apply the most features provided by the SOM 144/PCI module, the SOM-DB2300 provides standard connectors for Ethernet, IDE, PCI, keyboard/mouse, LPT, FDD, VGA, COM port, USB, TV-out, and Audio. Moreover, the SOM-DB2300 has two sets of display interfaces: one is transfering VGA/ 18-bit LCD signals from SOM 144/PCI module it carries, the other is seperate VGA/LCD display when SOM 144/PCI module doesn’t provide such fucntion or when users need higher bits LCD display, such 24-,36-, or 48-bit. When the SOM 144/PCI module is equipped with Ethernet feature, users may test such function from the SOM-DB2300’s RJ-45 Ethernet connector. Otherwise, users may need to add a PCI Ethernet card on the PCI slot to aquire LAN fuction With the SOM-DB2300 and its reference circuits, users may quickly test their specific SOM 144/PCI module and easily design their own solution boards for the SOM.
