Prox-1230 (PROTECH SYSTEMS)

Prox-1230 is a 3.5" mini board built-in with VIA Eden Low Power CPU at speed of 667 or 800MHz, VGA, Sound, LAN and other enhanced I/O interface. It is designed for systems required compact board controllers with multi-functions. It has VGA function (up to 32MB share memory) built-in VIA VT8606 chip (Code: Twister) to simultaneously display both CRT monitor and LCD panel. Together with the VGA function, Prox-1230 is also equipped with VIA VT1612A AC'97 Codec sound chip providing stereo full duplex multimedia environment to achieve conferencing and communication. All these features help the Prox-1230 to perform the best quality of graphic image, animation and sound. It also provides solutions for networking systems. It is built with Realtek 8100BL to support 10/100 Base TX fast Ethernet and Wake-On-LAN function. It has one 144-pin SO-DIMM socket supporting up to 128 MB DRAM, and one innovative CompactFlash socket allowing users to set as a boot-up drive with lower cost and more size of memories instead of the limitation by Disk-On-Chip.
